Philip Gourevitch (born 1961), an American author and journalist, is the editor of "The Paris Review" and a longtime staff writer of The New Yorker. His most recent book, an account of Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison under the American occupation, is "Standard Operating Procedure," a collaboration with the filmmaker Errol Morris.
